BIO
For vocalist Courtney Nelli (Emcee Red) and DJ, Ben Thomson (DJ Impulse), it's always been about a passion and love for music. Although creating a few songs here and there in a bit of experimentation, it was not until 2008 that they took their hobby more seriously. Through the encouragement of well-known identities in the Australian hip-hop community, the duo got straight to work in creating material towards their first release, the EP "State to State", featuring artists such as Porsah Laine and Daniel Ray. The duo continues to perform at various gigs and functions throughout WA and have just dropped their first EP, "State to State", in November 2009. With events planned Australia-wide, it will be a big 2009 and 2010 for Emcee Red.
