If you have followed this case, you will know that I agreed to withdraw negative feedback for a full refund and uGoole's agreement that they would pay in advance for any return postage.

They did provide the refund, probably due to the fact that it was going to happen anyway. I had paid with an Australian credit card and I understand that they would have issues with what they call a 'chargeback' to Paypal. Of course, Paypal hold uGoole's ill-gotten gains.

I thought it had been a bit too easy and of course, the scammer wasn't finished with me. He had the audacity to issue an Unpaid Item dispute against me. For those of you that will go through the same process, here is the resulting correspondence (from the bottom up)

I demanded a full refund in light of this vendor's fraud: providing MP4 players with hacked flash
memory (really less than 1GB). The vendor agreed in writing to pay in advance for the return of the
goods. I agreed to this on the condition that the return is by trackable method (signature required).
I am awaiting confirmation as to whether the vendor wants the goods returned on this basis.

You credited the whole amount, after it was paid, remember? Because you scam people, or had you forgotten?

It's been 24 days since I ordered my MP4 player so i decided to ask ugoogle about it's progress. It's been a week and I haven't recieved a reply or my MP4 player. I'm partly to blame because I made the stupid mistake of not checking their feedback first. This website has helped me realize that i had been scammed, and I plan on doing something about it.

Notice that most of the 4GB MP4 players ahve disappeared off eBay. Although, check out a new member "ultromall" - 60 feedback comments and selling 4GB MP4 players - I wonder if this is the same guy as he has 2 locations and became a member in November 2006, around the time this all started.
He offered me a partial refund of $14AUD through a Paypal claim, but I have refused it because I don't want him to have the satisfaction! I hope he gives me a full refund and then I will send the item back, but not before the money is in my account.

ugoole was also trading under e-britain. both have make their feedbacks private now.
i bought 4 mp4s. 2 from each of those sellers, thinking they were different people. however on paying i noiced both payments went in the same paypal account.
i got full refunds from the sellers as all 4 were hacked. 2 being only 512mb and 2 1gb when i paid for 4gb
its terrible they can get away with this. i got all the usual emails etc from them too and paypal are not very helpful as they wont refund till uve sent items back and that costs more than the refund would be

I PURCHASED AN MP4 PLAYER FROM UK@STORE724 WHICH IS ALSO RED VISION STORE AMONGST OTHER NAMES-ITS A SCAM-BUYER BEWARE-IT TOOK ME OVER A MONTH TO RECIEVE IT THEN IT DIDN'T EVEN WORK-I PAID ABOUT $39.00 U.S. FUNDS FOR IT-SO I COMPLAINED AND THEY TOLD ME TO SHIP IT BACK AT MY EXPENSE (WHICH WAS ABOUT $2.50 U.S. FUNDS)-OKAY NOT TOO BAD SO FAR FOR THE SHIPPING- NOW SINCE THIS CROOK RECIEVED IT HE SAYS HE NEEDS TO RECIEVE ANOTHER 5GBP WHICH IS ABOUT$10.00 U.S. FUNDS FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING BACK TO ME-WHAT A RIP OFF-FIRST OFF THEY SHOULD SEND ME ONE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS AT NO SHIPPING COST TO ME OR REFUND MY ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE-I GUESS I WILL JUST HAVE TO TAKE THE LOSS BECAUSE I REFUSE TO PAY THE $10.00 RETURN SHIPPING AS THE SAME THING MAY HAPPEN AGAIN-AND THE SAD THING IS I COMPLAINED TO BOTH EBAY AND PAYPAL ABOUT THIS SO CALLED POWER SELLER (OR SHOULD I SAY POWER SCAMMER) AND THEY JUST BLEW ME OFF? MAKES YOU WONDER ABOUT THE INTEGRITY ABOUT BOTH THESE BUSINESSES-I ORIGINALLY OPENED UP A RESOLUTION CLAIM WITH PAYPAL BECAUSE OF THE DELAY IN RECIEVING IT ORIGINALLY BUT THEN I STUPIDLY CLOSED IT THE DAY I RECIEVED THE ITEM BEFORE EVEN CHECKING TO SEE IF IT WORKED PROPERLY-NOW I CAN'T REOPEN MY CLAIM ACCORDING TO PAYPAL-MY OPINION IS THEY ARE JUST AS MUCH TO BLAME FOR THIS RIP OFF SELLER-FRUSTRATED MIKE

He also has a store at http://tinydeal.com

I found that when he referred me to his non-existent tech support page.

Looks like E-Bay and PayPal are going to s***w me since I refuse to pay $15 to send this piece of c**p back to China by a trackable shipper.
