CD & DVD Artwork Specifications
The artwork specification depends upon:
- the way the discs are created (whether burned or replicated) and
- the method of printing.
For complex graphic design, we strongly recommend that you use a qualified designer. We have several creative designers that are located throughout the metro area that have the specifications for our CD and DVD artwork requirements.
As artwork preparation is often left to the last minute it can often delay a project if the time to complete it and a proof is not taken in to account.
Our recommendation is to start the artwork process around the same time you start recording your music project rather than leaving it until the recording process is almost completed.
