The same type of widgets that allow Internet content to be viewed on a PC desktop without a browser are being integrated into the next generation of TVs.

Seemingly every major set manufacturer unveiled models that can offer video from the Internet, while the brands already selling Internet-ready sets announced support for a wider range of sites.
