What’s a Barking Gecko?

From concept to completed DVDs in 9 days! That’s what we recently accomplished for Perth's own Barking Gecko Theatre.

Specialising in Childrens theatre, Barking Gecko needed a new promotional DVD for a showcase in Adelaide that was going to attract many show buyers from around the world.

We spoke briefly with their General Manager Beverly Growden to discuss the requirements and agreed to put together not one but 2 DVDs for a conference two weeks later.

Scripted on the Monday, recorded & edited voices overs on Tuesday, completed the “History of Barking Gecko”, compiled and edited the footage and photos. Completed the DVD menus and graphics, encoded all the footage and produced a PAL and NTSC version of the master. On Thursday afternoon the masters left for the plant via overnight courier and the artwork was FTP’d to the graphics department. The following Thursday morning delivery of the replicated discs was received and a phone call made to the client.

We even beat the locally printed brochures! New artistic Director Justin Rice left for Adelaide on Sunday with the discs ready to hand out to the masses!

We’re happy to say this high quality product was produced on budget and within a very tight schedule by using all our production facilities.
