ANDY SALVANOS After working around the world as a session bassist,Andy Salvanos started performing with the Chapman Stick in 2007. He uses the instrument's full range and a variety of influences to create a unique sound.

Andy has performed at two Adelaide International Guitar Festivals, Australian Stick Night in Melbourne, in Adelaide's St Peters Cathedral with the Graduate Singers Choir, and is playing at The National Folk Festival in Canberra in April. He has been interviewed by national and local publications, including Australian Music Forum and is an avid street musician who can often be heard in Adelaide's Rundle Mall. Andy's solo albums include:

"Fragments" (2006-07) - a sampling of improvisations, solo pieces, loops and some tracks with backing.

"Closer" (2007-08) - award nominated album focussing on solo performances with a very relaxed feel.

"Morn's landing" (2009-10) - new release with a more "electronic" sound incorporating many styles.
